Have you started thinking about your Halloween costume? If not, it’s not too early to begin thinking of ideas. And if you find yourself looking for costumes at the last minute, you can still take advantage of these easy enhancements to any Halloween costumes. Chrissy’s Socks has many thigh-high socks that can be paired with DIY or non-DIY Halloween costumes. I’m sharing what you can pair them with to create your easy costume this year! Of course, there are many ways to go about making your outfit, but I hope these will inspire your own creativity! Many of the pairs are under $12, and they might even be on sale for less right now!
Sugar Skull: Pair your Dia de los Muertos thigh-high socks with your best attempt at sugar skull/skeleton makeup, a black dress and a bright flowers (like marigolds) in your hair.
Risky Business or Baseball Player: An oversized white button-up shirt, thigh-high red-stripe socks and sunglasses are the essentials for the Risky Business costume. You could wear the same socks for a baseball or soccer player costume (if you’re wearing shorts). If you can’t afford a jersey, you can decorate a T-shirt with fabric paint and grab a ball at a dollar store.
Flower Child: Pair your peace-sign rainbow-colored socks with a tie-dye shirt and shorts or a tie-dye dress (that you can make yourself out of an oversized T-shirt and paint), a colorful headband and flats. You can add a peace sign necklace as well.
Wicked Witch: Dress as your favorite witch with your favorite-color striped socks. I would pick green or purple and I would wear it with a black dress and a witch hat and carry my broomstick.
Candy Corn: If you can find a candy corn dress or costume, great. If not, you can paint one yourself with a plain T-shirt and yellow and orange fabric paint from a craft store. Pair it with these fun candy corn socks and a pointed hat.
Unicorn: Wear either a white (possibly sparkly) tutu or go for a multicolor one along with a white bodysuit or top. Find a unicorn headband and wear your rainbow socks.
Ladybug: Wear these red-orange and black dot thigh-high socks with a ladybug costume, or create your own with a black tutu and dotted tee. Maybe added felt dots to a red/orange shirt? Find a ladybug headband as well.
Cow: You can make a DIY cow costume by culting felt pieces in the shape of spots and gluing or sewing them onto a white T-shirt and bottoms. These thigh-high cow socks will keep you warmer and complete the outfit!
There are countless other ideas on Chrissy’s Knee High Socks, including fox, panda, cat and other designs. You can also find socks for costumes or outfits for other holidays!
