I want to continue my summer goal of getting out and about this fall. Without a plan, it won’t happen, so I’m sharing this year’s fall bucket list for the Chicago area, with lots of family-friendly things to go, along with the perfect top to transition me to fall and keep me cozy all winter, too. PinkBlush gifted me the softest cowl-neck top and I’ve been wearing it on these slightly cooler days leading up to fall. I have a feeling it will be a regular in my fall and winter wardrobe. I find it to be so comfortable with its soft material, and I love the color — it goes with all my pants and leggings.
PinkBlush carries both maternity clothes and non-maternity clothing picks, from sweaters to dresses to nursing tops and everything in between. I also recently shared my coral floral dress from PinkBlush along with this navy off-the-shoulder dress I plan to wear for fall and winter special occasions.
I think what makes this top perfect to transition to fall is that it’s lightweight, so I was still comfortable in it now, but when it’s colder I will wear other layers with it to stay warm and cozy.
My Chicago-area fall bucket list:
Visit Morton Arboretum.
Attend a Halloween event at Brookfield Zoo.
Attend Brick-or-Treat at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago.
Go to a pumpkin patch, corn maze and apple orchard.
Hike to see the leaves change color at one of many forest preserves/parks in the Chicagoland area.
