Day 1 of our time at Disney World was about getting to know the area, which can be a little overwhelming given its enormous size. We checked into Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort early Wednesday afternoon and began the day by wandering the grounds, having lunch and settling in. I was a bit nervous to see the signs warning about alligators around the water, especially with a toddler.
The property also lots of flowers to admire. The resort is undergoing renovations from what we heard, and most of the guests appeared to be convention-goers.
For lunch, I ordered a veggie burger from the market at Coronado Springs that I wasn’t too impressed with. We had a $25 dining credit, so I won’t complain too much. It satisfied my hunger and the fries were decent.
Disney Springs is definitely worth checking out when you’re in the area.
