In an effort to feel like myself again after my first trimester, I allowed myself to buy some new makeup last month. Thanks to Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales I was able to pick up some makeup and skin care products at great prices while shopping for other people. I’ve wanted some of these for quite some time, so I was really excited to treat myself! Win, win! Here is my recent cruelty-free beauty haul:
Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit, Sun Dipped: I bought this for $24 (regularly $40) on Black Friday while purchasing some gifts. I’ve had my eye on this for a long time and I decluttered my other highlighters so I feel good about this buy. I don’t currently see this on sale but keep an eye out!
Alba Botanica Hawaiian Hand & Body Lotion: I wanted a cocoa butter lotion and I love this! It smells so good and keeps my skin soft and hydrated. This wasn’t really on sale, but it’s already an affordable product.
Tarte Clay Play Face Shaping Palette: This was on sale for $18 and I needed new bronzing powder, so I bought it. It smells nice and I like having basic matte staple eyeshadows in my collection. Note: I’m not sure how long the sale will last, but it’s currently marked down at Macy’s.
e.l.f. Blush Palette: I’ve wanted this for a long time and it’s so affordable, yet I never bought it until I used up my other blushes. I also bought the Flawless Face Brush and a small Crease Brush.
Colourpop Tapered Blending Brush: I love this brush! It works great with my eye shape and helps me apply eyeshadow much better than other affordable brushes I have.
Mario Badescu Skin Care Hit Refresh Set: I saw this $12 trio while gift shopping and had to have it. I’ve wanted to try more Mario Badescu products for some time, and so far I love each of these.
