After two years we made our way back to Chicago Botanic Garden for Lightscape 2021. You might think that if you’ve gone to Lightscape you don’t need to return because it will be the same, but it has been reimagined with new and impressive installations throughout the walking path.

When you arrive, an attendant lets you know that the walkway is one directional, so you may spend as much time as you’d like at the event, but you cannot go backwards through the guided path.

That means you should make sure to grab your snacks and drinks when you hit a snack stand if you’d like to make a purchase. Toward the end of the pathway there’s also a laser light show that continously restarts, so don’t worry if you didn’t catch the beginning; it will start over.
Reservations are required again this year, and the event sells out. If you find an available time slot next year, grab tickets!
If you would like to visit Lightscape but don’t have tickets this year, enjoy our video of a taste of the experience.
