It’s hard to believe I’ll be 34 in just a few weeks. As I get older I find that my wants are fewer and fewer. In reality all I’d like is to see family and friends, though now that we live far away from most of them that doesn’t happen often. A text or call from loved ones will make my day on my birthday. It’s still fun to think about what I’d like to get, though. Each year I like to share my minimalistic birthday wish list. I try to be intentional about what I put on my wish list so that I am not creating waste and clutter. My 34th birthday wish list:
- Fitness classes at Orangetheory Fitness, a yoga studio or Train Moment in Chicago.
- Fabletics outfit. I love my current Fabletics pieces and think the company makes good-quality athletic apparel in cute prints. I have loved receiving Fabletics as gifts in the past.
- A trip. I have some places on my list that I’ve shared with Graham, including Nashville, Seattle, some places in Florida, and Iceland. I’d love to start planning those as part of my birthday gift.
As you can probably tell, I value travel and experiences (fitness) over actual belongings, though I wouldn’t mind looking cute in a new athleisure outfit while doing it.
What’s on your minimalistic birthday wish list?
