This year I upgraded our family’s Christmas decorations because we could use some extra cheer. I found some gorgeous lighted Christmas decorations on Lights.com and some other decor that have really elevated our home’s festive look. I’m sharing our Christmas decorating so far along with links to where I got the items.

Our Christmas tree looks much the same as last year, but our fireplace got a mini update. First, I painted the gold sections using Rust-Oleum high-heat spray paint. I hang our stockings just as I normally do, but this year I bought a pretty gold garland from Michaels to hang above them. An addition this year are the rustic lanterns with faux candles that I placed on each side. These come in a set and are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. They feature an eight-function remote with a timer as well as a choice of flicker/static light.

We have a new TV stand this year, along with a mounted TV, so this left me some space to decorate that space. I placed a red Christmas tree truck, camper and a JOY sign on a buffalo check table runner. I also used the small trees I already had from previous years. I also hung the Christmas countdown we purchased years ago from Ross, along with a new red door with a wreath wall decor that I fell in love with this year. (It’s only $15 right now!)

I tried my hand at making wreaths this year and I love the way they came out, but I also wanted a lighted wreath for the inside of my home. This frosted mistletoe wreath has battery-operated lights and looks gorgeous in our living room.

Our dining room server has been decorated in a winter wonderland theme. I placed a set of lighted Juniper trees from Lights.com along with a frosted mistletoe garland with my usual decorations.

My dining table is more simple this year because I discovered the girls love to play with the decorations. In the kitchen, I added some towels from Crate & Barrel to go with my little signs from the Target Bullseye Playground.

Adding some lighted Christmas decorations really makes our home look evern more festive this year. I highly recommend them.
