If you’re planning a Lilo & Stitch birthday party, there’s no shortage of party decoration ideas, to the point that it can be overwhelming to choose. I’m sharing some of the Stitch-themed items I found for my daughter’s 8th birthday celebration. These are affordable, cute, and not over-the-top.
Stitch Party Favors
I wanted to give away something the kids could reuse, so I chose blue reusable cups with lids and straws and ordered Lilo & Stitch stickers that each child could decorate how they wanted. I set the cups on a table with the stickers next to them, giving them a quick, fun activity to do as they arrived.
The party was at a pool, and I wanted something the kids could play with as they swam. I ordered mini Hawaii-themed sensory balls that the kids could also take home as another party favor. They weren’t exactly Stitch-themed but Hawaiian inspired works, too.
For a final touch, I used leis I already had leftover from a previous Hawaii themed party to give out. They had been sitting in my storage bin anyway, so this was an easy add. You can find them for less than $10 on Amazon.
Decorations
The easiest way to go about setting up a Stitch birthday party is to order a decoration set that includes just about everything you need. I found a kit that came with:
- A tablecloth
- Paper plates
- Popcorn buckets
- Napkins
- A banner
- A cake topper
- Invitations with envelopes
- Blowouts
- Stickers
The blowouts are a slight regret, as kids get wild with them and the room will get even noisier.
I also ordered a Hawaii-themed number balloon and a candle that matched the squishy ball party favors.
Planning a Lilo & Stitch birthday party doesn’t have to mean going overboard or overspending. With a few thoughtful, budget-friendly touches, you can create a fun, cohesive celebration that still feels special.
