For her 7th birthday, my daughter wanted a “22”-themed party. I had fun planning a Taylor Swift party and am sharing some of my finds for party favors and decorations.
I wanted to give out party favors that were both on theme and useful. I didn’t want to purchase things that would end up in the landfill. I found a vendor selling lip balms with custom Taylor Swift-themed labels. I chose the labels that said “IN MY BIRTHDAY ERA” with my daughter’s name. The shop sells them with the labels already applied, or you can apply them yourself and save some money. I chose to apply the labels myself, which was easy to do. I only messed up twice, and luckily, the shop owner provided extra labels.
I also ordered scrunchies, because I figured they would be reused. Many Etsy sellers offer custom party favor cards to hold the scrunchies. I had run out of time to order the party favors, so I reached out to a shop to ask to purchase the file so I could make them myself using my Cricut Maker. The seller was generous in letting me have the “In My Birthday Era” party favor file for free. I used blue cardstock because that’s what my daughter liked, and printed the cards, attaching a bracelet and scrunchie to each one. I wanted to get a reusable bag, but sadly, I ran out of time. I would recommend a makeup bag or pencil case, but I used these metallic bags instead.

Taylor Swift-Inspired Birthday Decorations
I like to order a backdrop to hang in our dining room when we enjoy the birthday cake at home. I found an adorable option that says “In my birthday era.”
I also ordered plastic table covers that said “It’s me, hi, I’m the birthday girl it’s me” and came in a set of three. This was perfect because the party was happening outdoors at a nature center, and we needed to cover the tables.

You can’t go wrong with the 22-style white T-shirt with black and red letters. My daughter wanted to wear the shirt that said “IT’S ME, HI, I’M THE BIRTHDAY GIRL, IT’S ME.”
The rest of the family wore similar shirts, but ours said ” A LOT GOING ON AT THE PARTY.” The shirt is often seen with the text, “A LOT GOING ON AT THE MOMENT,” but we did a fun take on the saying.
