My Christmas wish list for 2019 highlights my priority in this phase of life, which is self-care. I am a tired working mom of two who loves self-care, and the things on my wish list reflect that. I hope this gives some ideas for what to add to your own wish list or what to buy for someone in your life. Many of these make nice gifts for moms, though they would also work to self-improvement fans. And of course, Christmas is not about gifts at all.
Weighted blanket. I’ve heard from several people that they love their weighted blankets, and I’m intrigued. My hope is it will calm me down more so I can fall asleep more easily. I think a weighted blanket would make an excellent gift.
Bath bombs. I love bath bombs from many different retailers, with the exception of cheap ones from Amazon. I find that those don’t work as well and I prefer those from cruelty-free companies that use safer ingredients. Just make sure anyone you’re giving them to actually has a bathtub and loves baths.
Bath tub tray. I take a lot of baths and I find it difficult to read or listen to anything on my phone without worrying about dropping something into the water. I have always thought it’d be nice to have a tray. If you know a person in your life who loves baths and relaxation, this could be a nice addition to their self-care routine.
Gift card for a facial. I rarely get facials but I know I probably should. I previously had an oxygen facial and I loved the results! I think many people would enjoy being treated to a facial and it’s an experience gift that would take up space, which is appealing to both minimalists and those who have everything.
Purse. I have carried the same purse for most if not all of this year. It’s a couple of years old and I would like to replace it with something with more functional that has pockets on the inside for the girls’ snacks and my other essentials. If you notice the person in your life has a worn-out purse, maybe they’d enjoy an upgrade.
Fitness classes. I used to be an Orangetheory member, but I paused my membership just before getting pregnant. I have wanted to return for more than a year. I think a class package or gift card to your loved one’s favorite workout class would make an excellent gift that would be appreciated.
What’s on your wish list this year?
