TikTok never ceases to influence my purchasing decisions. For the most part these purchases have turned out well. I’m sharing some of the products that TikTok made me buy lately.
6 items I bought because of TikTok
Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask: After seeing this lip mask all over my #FYP, I added it to my cart. Whenever I wear it to sleep, which is every night now, my husband tells me that my lips look amazing. My lips feel softer and not as dry.
Charlotte Tilbury Contour Wand: I have been loving the Charlotte Tillbury mascara, which inspired me to try more makeup products from the brand. At one point this contour stick was sold out, but I eventually got my hands on it. I like it so far, though it seems like there is little product in the tube. All CT products have lovely packaging; I I’ll give her that. It’s easy to apply, too.
The Ordinary skin care: I saw an ad for Ordinary advertising the brand’s quiz that lets you know exactly which products to use for your skin needs and concerns. It solved my problem of never knowing which products I need to be using. It was easy to add the various oils and serums to my cart.
Olaplex shampoo: Every aspirational influencer in TikTok, those who are called THAT GIRL, uses Olaplex. I have to say that I can see why it is $30. My hair has never looked healthier. 10/10
Klaw Nails: One of my first TikTok-influenced purchases was a press-on nail kit from Klaw. I like their longevity, though nothing lasts more than 4 days on me.
Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer: I really wanted the Dyson Air Wrap, but I can’t bring myself to spend that much on a hair tool. I was really impressed with this Revlon, though. I rarely want to blow dry my hair but this has made it easier and much better. I use it more than I thought I would. The price isn’t ridiculous, either.
What about you? Are you easily influenced?
