The 2022 Bristol Renaissance Faire was PACKED. So many people had the same ideas as we did to go to the faire on a recent Sunday. The weather was supposed to be nice, in the 70s, but instead we had rain that didn’t even make the radar. This unexpected rain meant we were totally unprepared clothingwise.
A highlight was the fire show by Adam Crack, who has nine Guinness World Records. According to guinnessworldrecords.com, Adam Winrich cracked a 46.69 pound whip in Madison, Wisconsin, on July 5, 2022.

The show was funny, entertaining and shocking. He truly is talented at what he does.

We also enjoyed Vegetable Justice, the tomato throwing station. My husband Graham surprised him by being a skilled thrower, which you can tell he didn’t expect. It sure was amusing.
The Bristol Renaissance Faire also has riveting people-watching. It would have been a bit more fun if it weren’t so crowded though. The lines were ridiculously long for everything, especially the food. I waited about 30 minutes for spicy chicken wings for my husband. I would have enjoyed more food and treats had the lines not been so long.
I hope next year’s will not be so crowded. Have you been to the faire this year?
