My youngest daughter loves space, so I knew I had to throw her an out-of-this-world party for her 6th birthday.
The space theme is adorable. I found a space theme party decoration package that contained a rocket balloon, solar system swirl decorations, 24 cupcake toppers, an astronaut balloon, a birthday banner and a backdrop. It also came with latex balloons in space-themed colors.
The astronaut balloon can be found on multiple sites, including Etsy and Amazon.
I used a plain black tablecover, but you could use space theme tablecover as well. This is a cute option:
I also found space plates and napkins with planets on them for the pizza and cake, along with blue plastic flatware.

We had a small cake at home and then hosted her party at a nearby nature center, where we rented an indoor room. We were able to decorate the room, including above the fireplace.
I also made shirts with a custom space design I made myself. It featured her age, 6, with planets around it, including dwarf planet Pluto, of course.
For party favors, I got planet gift bags that can be reused.
The party favors were glow-in-the-dark space tattoos, space silicone bracelets, space squishy balls, galaxy slime, reusable space stickers, and mini rocket flashlight keychains.
